Congratulations!

Check Your E-mail For Your Customized Birth Plan!

With all the choices you’ll have when your labor begins, it’s good to have this handy guide to help you navigate the process.

Be sure to review your birth plan in advance with your OB-GYN, midwife, and doula to understand important medical information related to your choices.  Also, bring a few copies with you to the hospital so the medical team understands your ideal birth experience.

Don’t Forget About Cord Blood!

As a reminder, if you don’t make plans to donate or privately bank your child’s umbilical cord blood, it will be discarded.

Cord blood is only available immediately after birth and can be stored for future use for 25+ years.  The process to collect your newborn’s stem cells is a simple and painless part of the delivery process.

Please don’t waste valuable stem cells that can be lifesaving for someone in need of a transplant!
