Save the Cord Foundation is working to make the collection of cord blood the standard of public health education and care in hospitals throughout the nation.

Save the Cord Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to advance cord blood awareness, education, research and legislation, and to provide free, unbiased, factual information to expectant parents and the public surrounding the medical value and life-saving benefits of umbilical cord blood and its storage options.

Named in honor of their daughter Kacey Rose, who lost her battle with childhood leukemia, the Foundation’s mission is to provide assistance to families affected by childhood cancer and to spread awareness regarding cord blood donation.

Cord For Life®, also partners with leading hospitals to collect donated cord blood to increase the available public inventory.  We believe in the power of stems cells and stem cell education.

In addition to our network of partner hospitals for cord blood donations, you can also donate at your local hospital.

Just be sure to complete the paperwork by your 34th week and have our Cord Blood Collection Kit with you when you go into labor.
